So the movers came yesterday for the "unaccompanied" baggage and are comming either tomorrow or thursday for the rest of the stuff, so I will be comming home to an empty appartment, dun dun dunnnnn. Not going to lie, I'm not sorry that I am missing all of the chaos and Michael prolly isnt either. I tend to make things more stressful than they need to be, and I think the mess would make me an unpleasant person to be around. Thanks hunny!
I woke up at the crack of dawn to go to the MVD so I could get a new registration card for the car that had both of our names on it, so the moving company would ship the car under our orders. I got there and was the 5th person in line! At 7:30! I was dumbfounded, I thought I was all cool and would be like the first, NOPE! I was third served though so it wasnt as painful as I thought. Unfortunately for me, I didnt know that I had to have a vin number or a license plate number and may have had to come back later if it werent for the nice lady taking pity on a poor stressed out military wife and looking up my last name. Fortunately for me, there arent many Currins in the state of New Mexico and we found it quickly! So now we can ship the car without any issues, which takes a load off of my shoulders. It was a very successful day for me, even if it does sound pretty boring. Its really the little victories that get me through everyday of this craziness that the Army calls a PCS.
Hopefully the next time I write we will have plane tickets and an ETA for Germany, we are just waiting on the Army... go figure! Should be around the 5th of May, or so my husband says.
Oh, and I bought myself a present! I love my reusable cups!
