Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Happy Earth Day! I know that today I will be taking my reusable cold cup to Starbucks for my free passion tea :). The thing that I think we do need to remember today is that remembering to take action to reduce waste only on Earthday is not enough. Earthday should be a day to share ideas and start habits that continue the whole year through...think about it as the anniversary of your good habits! I use reusable bags and cups and we are trying to recycle bottles and cans on a regular basis, but it is a work in progress. I have never been one to buy into the whole environmental stuff, so if thats you I understand, but I decided that whether I believe the "science" or not, what could be the harm in reducing my wasteful habits. I am glad I did, and I think being less wasteful really will benefit everyone. It is a good feeling to feel like I am helping out in some way, and it really has improved my life since the plastic bags were taking over our appartment. So I urge everyone today to make a small change in their lives, and keep it up all year long, and improve their state of living :). It doesnt have to be big or hard, Reduce, Renew, Recycle!
